Heart Healthy Eating and Our Heart Healthy Mixes
When it comes to January, making healthy New Year’s resolutions often reminds me that I ate too much and exercised too little during the holidays.
It makes the first few weeks of the New Year sort of . . . blah, if I’m not careful.
And when I look in the mirror and think I’m getting a little heavier than I’d like, I’m probably right.
When you factor in the weather, January can add up to a sort of frumpy month when I’m wearing sweat pants more than I would like to admit (not because I’m going to the gym more either, but because my other clothes are now too tight to be comfortable).
Like a lot of people, it’s not always easy for me to eat right. But at least this is a month when I am reminded of steps I can take to improve my diet.
And with that said, this is the month when I’m always thinking about our Heart Healthy Mixes at Lehi Roller Mills and our All Natural Whole Wheat Buttermilk Pancake mix.

But when it comes to this muffin mix, I just offer people a muffin. If they ask what kind, I say taste it first and then I’ll tell you. After they taste it, they don’t care that it’s healthy too and isn’t smeared with butter.
